Adobe bridge 2025 canon CR2 keywords

Why is it that Adobe bridge 2025 has issues tagging keywords with CR2 Cannon files, I have a MacBook, latest operating system,camera raw and Photoshop etc. Older versions of Adobe Bridge had no problem tagging the images with keywords. But with the new version I keep getting "cannot apply metadata" one Adobe technician told me to just change over my files to a different format, which is easy to say but difficulty do if you have tens of thousands of images.

Lightroom CC uses a different method of keywording than Bridge and Lightroom Classic. Are you seeing any other errors? This could just be a permissions problem.

No, I do not use clouds backup for images and video, I do have Lightroom CC and I've noticed that some people have issues when they have both Lightroom versions on the same computer, but Adobe says it shouldn't cause an issue. According to Adobe should be able to have lightroom CC and and classic on the same computer. I have an M1 MacBook Pro w/ os 26.0.1

Are you using cloud backup and storage with your drives? We frequently see problems with this.

The files are located in both the local drive and external hard drives
