Adobe Bridge 2026 is deleting my labels

I recently upgraded to Bridge 2026 on my Mac Book Pro M1 Max, but a bug of some kind is now seriously disrupting my workflow.

I can apply my colour labels with no issue; but when I transfer my labelled images across to Lightroom Classic 2026 for final editing, Bridge then systematically deletes all of the labels from the images, leaving them all with no labels.

It does not delete star ratings in the same way.

The images I have attached show the original labels, followed by two images which document the real time removal of those labes by Bridge after the images have been transferred to Lightroom Classic.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Might there be an error in my settings I can adjust?  Or is this a bug that needs fixing.
