Batch Rename Doesn't Work

When I batch rename on my Mac it will not complete the task. I have to cancel it and what is left are files titled  "AdobeBridgeRenameTemp" then a number. As of this writing everything is the latest version.  Mac is Apple chip m3 max Sequoia 15.4.1. This should work. Please help or fix. Thanks Tom

Hi @Tomasese,

Thanks for the feedback.
We are able to reproduce the issue at our end and have added it to the engineering pipeline.

In your case, all files seem to be of the same date, hence causing conflict while renaming.
For workaround, we suggest keeping the output name unique as below.

It works perfectly on my old windows desktop. It numbers them after the date. Except for the first one. Which it then places at the end. I have to rename it with a 0 the get back to the right order. It should start with the first one being either 0 or 1.

Thank you,

You should be able to see the order taken in the file names. It never goes past this point. These are files on the device. It doesn't matter if they are tif or jpg.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide a short video/gif of the issue that you are facing?

Is the issue occuring on a specific set of files? (Network files, certain extension files)?

Thanks,

Bridge Team.
