Batch Rename - Programme Crash Bridge Version 13.0.2.636 - Microsoft

I want to change the file names of several selected files with the "Batch Rename" tool.

Unfortunately, after selecting the command "Menu: Tools - Batch Rename", the programme shows no reaction (the usual editing window does not open) and then immediately closes completely.

Please kindly ask for this error to be corrected. Thank you.

    With Bridge 13.02.636 under Windows 10, Bridge would prompt for an error report and then shut down. With Bridge 13.03.693 under Windows 11, there is no prompt for an error report. Bridge remains locked up for a while and then shuts down. This is a really important function. Why have months gone by without it being fixed? I have to go back 12.04.286 whenever I want to use batch rename.

    Hi Andrea Hach,

    Thanks for your feedback. Can you please try resetting Bridge preferences using ctrl+alt while launching bridge, if it resolves the issue.
    Also Could you share the following details about the issue:

    1. System Configuration
    2. Batch Rename Preset or settings which you are using for Batch rename.
    3. Numbers and type of files on which you are performing Batch Rename.
    4. Please share the sample video of the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com
