Bridge 13 is so damn slow...

Seeing the same thing on Adobe Bridge 13.0.2.636. OS is Windows 10 22H2 64-bit (OS build 19045.2604), and getting about 20-23% CPU on Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB RAM, ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus WiFi MB. GPU is RTX 3090 Founders Edition. Reading directories of >30 .NEF files off a WD Black SN850X 4TB NVMe SSD.

While Bridge appears idle, the CPU utilization is steady and responsiveness is diminished. Resource monitor on the Bridge process shows no files open (after all the thumbnails in a directory are created), less than 50 bytes of I/O to two AWS EC2 instances, and about 8GB of RAM consumed. Seems to be triggered by creating hi-res thumbnails in folders with >20 .NEF files. Reading folders of .PSD files doesn't appear to cause it, only .NEF files. Thumbnail cache max size is set to 150GB, though clearing the cache appeared to have no effect.

After further testing, going between folders with .PSDs and .NEFs, something changed, and now I cannot reproduce the issue.

Not sure this is relevant, but in the past week, I've added a significant amount of disk space, and moved my boot drive from a Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB to a WD Black SN850X 4TB NVMe SSD (not the same one I'm reading photos from). I had to re-authenticate into Adobe after the change. As far as I know, I wasn't seeing the issue until this change.

Up to 5 seconds to update a thumbnail viewport - Selection or mouseweel scroll action.

I JUST HAD TO BUY PHOTOMECANIC FOR CULLING THE RAWs because camera raw is too slow (up to 3 seconds to render a picture in preview mode)
