Bridge ACR Super Resolution causes Photoshop to crash when opening edited RAWS

Just updated to Bridge 15.1.0.635 , Adobe Camera RAW 17.4.1 and Photoshop 26.8.1

When using ACR from Bridge to Photoshop, Photoshop opens, no photos load, Photoshop hangs and becomes unresponsive.

Fresh installs have been made by deleting previous settings and all related files and Windows machine also has been factory reset.

The problem is still prevalent since the update.

I shoot RAW using OM System OM1-Mark II and ORF Raw files.

I put RAW files ontop computer SSD

Open in Bridge, edit in ACR  and if I do NOT use the super resolution - click open - opens in photoshop fine. No problem here.

Repeat the above, but then click super resolution - pop up flashes and states "updating AI settings x of x" which I assume is working 1 of 5, or 3 of 5 photo.

Then click open in Photoshop.

Photoshop opens with a delay - no photos loaded - Photoshop hangs and becomes unresponsive.

So I delete those ORF files and use a fresh set.

Open directly in Photoshop, ACR pops up, apply super resolution, no pop up about AI settings, but says "applying super resolution"

Click open, and all of them open in their own window within Photoshop without delay and without issues. 

Therefore the issue I am having is apparent with using Super resolution in ACR from Bridge to Photoshop, irrespective of type of RAW file being used.

I thought I'd try something else. The RAW files display XMP sidecar files and with the new update, ACR sidecar files. After I used Photshop ACR to use SuperRaw, the XMP and ACR sidecar files are within the RAW files. I close Photoshop down.

Went to Bridge, opened the already edit RAWs in ACR there - sure enough displayed all the settings I am using, including super resolution being ticked. As soon as I clicked open, to open in Photoshop the same issue happens.

Photoshop window opens, no photos, hangs and becomes unresponsive.

This happens on a fresh install or when I update.

Furthermore, if I revert back to the previous ACR version, (by doing a system restore / restore image), I have no issues whatsoever.

All software, hardware and drivers are updated.
