"Bridge has encountered a problem and needs to close." v15 ad v16 at startup,

"Bridge has encountered a problem and needs to close." Just got this message after trying to launch v16. I've been getting this message for the past year trying to load v15.  v14 is working okay, but I'd really like to  update as I hope the issues I am having with keywords would go away or at least be improved.
