Bridge on mac cant see nested folders: for a file browser its unbelievable

I’m working on a folder in bridge.  I create a folder elsewhere - or worse *bridge creates the folder*, but it will not update the folder view to show the folder. Its been like this since I got a. macbook ~2 years ago. I don't understand how this is possible.  Unless there is something glaringly obvious I’m not doing?

I make an export to the same folder creating “jpeg” subfolder. Nothing I do will make the jpeg folder appear.  In order to do that I have to navigate to it in finder, and open a file from there.

This is in bridge 16, but it's been the same for 2 years.  I’m on sonoma 14.4

I see this all the time as well, for about as long too. It seems to be a an issue with Bridge polling the status of the file system. The workaround for me is to click on the enclosing folder where the changes happened inside of, or select some other random folder first and then the enclosing folder, which then forces Bridge to readdress what’s in the folder.

its nuts!  Some of my workflows are based around bridge.  If I have to change my workflows I have less and less reason to stay with adobe.  And the more they ignore decades old bugs (literally!), the greater the push to try something else.
