Bridge will not rotate pictures.

Using I mac v. 15.5 and latest v of Bridge, I cannot rotate pictures-symols are grayed-out.  I have removed Br and reinstalled it and restarted I mac and this still has the problem.

Fix???

I skipped a few days of Bridge use and when I turned it on a couple of days
ago, I could reorient my pictures again.
I have no explanation on what cured the issue but presently I have no
problem again.
