Camera Raw Color Label Bug

The color labeling system is not working properly. When in Camera Raw, you can click numerals 6-9 to label by color and it shows properly in Camera Raw. Once you click “done” and go back to Bridge, the image is not color labeled. It is labeled white. When trying to sort by color, you have to right click on the image and then click select, second, approved, review, etc to get a color. Then when filtering the images, there is a separate list by color and a separate list by approval status. Please change it back to how it was.

Labels are not stored in a file as colors, they are stored as text. Check to see that labels are what you want to use, a white label means the text is not in Bridge labels (in Preferences.)

It’s worse than that. If you label it in Camera Raw, view in Bridge, right click and choose Labels it shows there are no labels applied, although it appears as if a white label was selected (I have no option to apply white labels).

Using Bridge 15.1.5.3, Camera Raw 18.3.0.2528, Windows 10

Did you read my post? A white label means that the label TEXT (colors are not stored, they are mapped to a text label) doesn’t match what’s in Bridge.

Look at File Info raw data and see what actual TEXT label is assigned. Somewhere there is a mismatch.
