ctrl+del not working

It´s a psychological moment that you are 100% sure to delete the file when pressing the two keys combination because all other programs act as normal while deleting files to prompt to delete and it´s fine. I don´t want to lose this safety function by ticking the "don´t ask again". And so, why we have no some sort of keyboard customisation in Bridge?
