Drag and dropping of files not working!

I work on Macs and use Adobe Bridge nearly every day for organzing large quantities of image files, I also use it in conjuction with dropbox, most of the folders I work in are hosted on Dropbox.

For some reason, today a new bug appeared with Bridge.  Essentially if I drag a file from one folder into another, the file dissappears as if it's moved but it does not reappear in the target folder, it's as if the file dissapears into the void.  This is observable from the Mac Finder view, the file dissapears in Finder when moved via bridge.  However if the file is moved using finder, it transfer correctly.  This appears to be a Bridge problem. 

The problem also occurs when I host the folders on my local hard drive rather than dropbox, so it doesn't appear to be dropbox related.  I originally experienced the issue while using Bidge 2025, but it's persisting even after upgrading to bridge 2026.  Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips?  Thank you.
