Duplicate RAW files on import..still!

This isn't an idea.. except for please fix this bug!
Others claim it has been fixed for a while (see Adobe forum), but I'm not seeing that. I just installed the latest Bridge 2023 beta.. and it's still there.
This renders Bridge useless for downloading pictures from my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Could you please try these steps:

    Connect Camera/card and launch Photo downloader
    You will get a browse dialog and all the locations selected by default in that
    Select only one check box for the files location
    Dulicate files would not appear in APD dialog after following above steps.

    Please try and let us know if this works for you.
