image duplication

Anytime I change or add metadata to an image in a folder all the images in the folder are duplicated.  If I do it again they are triplicated.  I can clean the folder up by jumping to another folder then back to the original.  Never happened before in the 20 years I've been using Bridge.  Any help is appreciated.

We are unable to reproduce the issue on our end.
Could you please provide the following details to help us investigate further?

  • Does this issue started recently i.e. after update of Bridge or OS?
  • Is the issue specific to particular files or formats?
  • Does filename/path have any special charactors ?


If possible please share the screen recording of the issue with us.
Please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com and mention this thread. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
