opening files in wrong version of PS

Bridge v. 14.0.2: when opening files in PS it opens instead in Photoshop Beta v. 25.6. In the preferences, file type association, every file extension is associated with the correct version of PS (v. 25.5). Still, Bridge opens file in PS Beta

    In Order to help you, I would need to know if you are using 'Place in' functionality or opening files by double click over files.
