Unable to create folders or save changes on external SSD in Bridge
I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Bridge on my Mac.
Adobe Bridge works normally when I use files stored on my desktop and internal drive. I can create folders, rename files, and save changes without any issues.
However, when working with files on my external SSD, Bridge does not function correctly. I am unable to create new folders or save changes to photos. In contrast, Finder works completely normally with the same external SSD. I can create, rename, move, and delete files without any problems.
To troubleshoot the issue, I have already tried the following:
- Verified that the external SSD is writable in Finder (read/write access is enabled).
- Confirmed that I can create and modify files directly on the SSD using Finder.
- Reset Adobe Bridge preferences.
- Granted Adobe Bridge Full Disk Access in macOS Privacy & Security settings.
- Restarted both Adobe Bridge and my Mac.
Despite these steps, the issue persists. The problem only occurs in Adobe Bridge and only when working with files on the external SSD.
Could you please advise if there are any additional permissions required, known issues, or further troubleshooting steps I should try?
