Very Hard to rename folders with Japanese text.

Hi!
I tried to rename folders with Japanese text, but the homophone selection field blinks and moves at high speed, making it difficult to fill in. With English text, the selection fields don't blinks nor moves. Why it happen? Is it a specification to prevent garbled characters?
