P: Zoom with Option + Scroll Wheel with Adjustment Brush (k) and Spot Removal (b)

Starting with ACR version 13, zooming while using Option + Scroll Wheel doesn't work when using the Adjustment Brush (k) and Spot Removal (b) tools. The scroll wheel adjusts the brush size *regardless* of whether the Option key is pressed or not. 

This is NOT the case when other tools are in use, and was not the case with version 12. Option + Scroll Wheel works to zoom with all other tools except the Adjustment Brush (k) and Spot Removal (b) tools.

 

As far as I can tell, this is a BUG that persists since version 12.

 

This is inconsistent with every other Adobe product, including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Zooming using Option key + Scroll Wheel and panning with the space bar behavior is consistent across all Adobe platforms, but for some reason stopped with ACR version 13.

 

Thus, the only reason is it must be a bug.

    Wes, you don't have to do anything further, I filled an internal bug report and you can upvote here as well.

      My observations (on Mac) match what Wes has reported, the zooming with a scroll wheel with B (brush) is broken. With or without the modifier key, the brush resizes. Not the same with other key option/tools. There is a new bug report produced for the team.

      @Rikk Flohr: Photography Unfortunately, it seems that this "bug" has returned with one of the recent updates. Zooming and panning with the scroll wheel while pushing the option key works with spot removal (b) and gradient (g) tools, but does NOT WORK when the brush (k) is being used. The scroll wheel adjustes the bush size, regardless if the option key is being pressed or not. Is this still the forum to report this issue, or is there a better place?
