After effects won't import Character Animator scene?

I get an error message: Could connect, please verify that Character animator is installed. (86::1). While the Ch is actually installed and running. Any solution to this error? Thanks

Yes it looks that was the problem. I have downgraded the Ch because Ae2023 is full of bugs and don't get the error message anymore. The importer is now trying to connect to dynamic link server. It fails constantly but hey at least is trying. What a pleasure using adobe products for 53 euros a month ❤️

All I can think of is to make sure that you are running the same version of both programs.
