Cannot drag anything

I have lost the ability to drag anything into character animator (24.0). I can import and rig puppets, but it wont let me drag it into the scene. never had this problem before. I even downloaded an older version (23.6) and neither will let me drag puppets, mp3's, anything. Windows 10.

Can you not drag anything into the timeline? Are you getting any errors?

I have made hundreds of scenes in character animator. I can now no longer
drag anything into the scene.

CH takes a little getting used to. While you can drag your imported files into the timeline/scene, you cannot drag them on the stage to move or scale them. To do that, you need to adjust the coordinates and percentages in the Transform panel on the right.
