cant increase audio volume but can decrease it?

having a weird problem that i didnt have before, i am unable to adjust audio DB normally, i can decrease it like normal but i cant increase the volume of audio tracks?

strange, i even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, that didnt work either

I recall having the same experience. My work-around was to import the audio into Adobe Audition and adjust it there before importing into CH.
