Image importing to incorrect resolution

Hi everyone,

I created a frame and a background in photoshop with size 450x750 each as PSD.

i verify with selection size, image size, canvas size... they really, really are both 450x750px.

Next I go to Char Anim and set the stage size to 450x750. I import both images ... the frame lines up perfectly to the pixel with the scene but the background is wider than the scene, appears to be stretched horizontally an extra 10 pixels left and right side . I check transform properties, everything is default. I don't understand what could possibly make the 2 images different !
