Hello! I love your product. 🙂

Internal error code: (751789695:79+6) assertion failed!

I was working on creating an animation, saved a new file, imported a puppet, and then was going to drag into the timeline but as I moved the mouse from the menu, as seen in the screenshot, I received the following error code. I was able to recreate it several times.

Everything seems to be fine with the file, however.

Thanks!
Axel

ps I guess there isn't a place to save the screenshot. I have it if it would be helpful. 🙂

Are you still having this issue in the recent versions of the app?

If you started the project in version 1.1, then opened it in the version 1.1 again, you'll get a prompt saying that you'd lose any changes you made in 1.5. You should be able to uninstall 1.5 and reinstall 1.1 by selecting the Other Versions option for Character Animator CC in the Creative Cloud application.

If you could share a copy of the project folder (just zip up the project folder, and also include any artwork files if they weren't copied into the project folder), we can try to diagnose what might be going on. You can either post it here or e-mail me a link at almasol at adobe dot com. Thanks.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem! I'm behind on a project and I have no idea what is going on. I uninstalled and reinstalled character animator.

I did not have this problem when I was on version 1.1 . But then I upgraded and this started showing up. Is there anyway to downgrade a project? I'm on windows. MSI GL 62 Laptop. Nvidia 960M. i7-7700HQ. 32GB RAM.

I think if I let you guys open up my project file it may reproduce the issue onto your computer. If you'd like, I can zip my entire project and google drive it to you for more help.

Thanks for the screenshot. So did the problem happen again, or was this just a one-time thing? We haven't been able to reproduce the issue so far.

Hi Axel, able to upload somewhere and share a link, or clarify which menu this was?

Also, are you on Mac or Windows?

Thanks.
