New BUG 2025 version CA - pressing calibrate turns off camera. No way to calibrate

There is a bug with the calibrate and activate body tracker functions.  If I press the body tracker camera icon I'm instructed to look at the panel and press calibrate.  When I do it turns off the camera.  I tried pressing calibrate first which turns on the camera, but it won't calibrate.  I tried Calibrate - camara/tracker - calibrate and its still turns off the camera.  I've already restarted my computer and this is the latest 2025 version confirmed.  Mac OS, latest version.

After another restart it's back online - I'll report back with video capture if this bug returns.  Thanks for the quick response.

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce this on either Windows or macOS versions of Character Animator 2025 (version 25.0). A few things to check:

  • If you use the Hopscotch example puppet on the Home screen, does that also show the issue?
  • When you openk the panel's menu (the three horizontal lines to the right of the "Camera & Microphone" panel title, does it show the expected camera as selected? Is there only one camera available on your system?

Thanks.
