Opening the application is taking a very long time, hangs on "Initializing MIDI"

Hi,

As the subject line states, it is taking about 15+ minutes for Ch to open. It hangs on "Initializing MIDI". This was not an issue before most recent update or two. I do not have a MIDI controller connected. I do have a USB audio device (Scarlet18i20) that has not caused this issue in the past, I've been using it for several years with Ch as well as a camera (GH4) plugged in HDMI>USB webcam cable.

Why would the opening process hang on that instance?

The caveat: My machine is an enterprise machine, could this be a permissions issue?

However, I do not have this issue with any other Adobe application we use with our enterprise account.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on what this might be.
