Premiere to Character Animator dynamic link issue

I recently opened a Premiere Pro project that has Character Animator dynamic linked to it...and that link was no longer working. I tried relinking them and got an error that says "Adobe After Effects 2023 must be installed to import this file". That doesn't make a lot of sense, consider that I'm not using After Effects and because I do have the latest version of After Effects installed.

Any way to fix this?
