why can't I import compatible files in starter mode?

Is this problem specific to the computer you are using? Are you able to select the files and use them (for instance) on a home computer? 

Are you seeing any error messages? Also, where are you trying to load the files from? The program works best when all of the files you need are stored on a local drive. Using a cloud or network drive can sometimes cause the program to crash or even corrupt your project files.

1) Is the audio file unable to be loaded only on a specific computer?
2) When you press “Read the recorded speech” in the top center of the screen, does the list appear?
3) Can you load the audio file from the list? Or is it grayed out and cannot be selected?
