8K export corrupts live generator-driven height; rasterized generator output exports cleanly.

8K export re-evaluates live generator-driven height incorrectly, contaminating exported normal maps. 4K export is clean, painted height is clean, and rasterizing the generator at 4K before exporting 8K produces clean normal maps. See attached PDF for more details.

    Here’s a DxDiag. Briefly, my system is Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 1x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, 32 GB RAM, and an NVMe SSD (with at least 60 GB free when the bug occurred).

    Once again, thank you very much for the detailed answer. We’re able to reproduce with your project, therefore devs are now investigating. That being said, we’re still having issues reproducing it with our custom projects. I’ll keep you posted as soon as I have something to share.

    We don’t reproduce at the moment. Could you share your Painter version and your hardware specifications, so we can try to reproduce under the same conditions?
