Can't export Textures in Substance Painter 12.0

I recently updated to Substance painter 12.0 today, updating one of my projects I was working on.
I then go to export the textures to files, same as I’ve done for years on previous versions and..it does nothing. Just sits there, no files generated, just stuck on computing textures results.

Have tried reinstalling, no change. Was working fine on the last version.

How soon next week? We have content lock in 4 days. Will I be able to export my textures before then? Thanks

you also cant save after attempting the export without the ‘viewport texture cache computation in progress’

Having the same problem since the update, tried all the other things suggested to fix this issue, tried reinstalling substance painter, resaving file, etc etc.. nothing has worked.

Having the same issue since last update, reverting to the older version does not work either because updated substance painter files can’t be opened with the older versions. Also can’t save and exit substance after the export failure, a window appears saying “viewport texture cache computation in progress”  after trying to close the software but it stucks again. And when it’s killed on the task manager the file gets corrupted. I had this export issue in two files since yesterday. I fixed one by deleting a mask layer with a concrete crack grunge texture. The other file didn’t had a mask layer with a texture like this so I can’t figure out what caused this problem.
