What's your project setup? Make sure you have the "Use UV Tile workflow" box checked before creating a project.

Hi I am having the same issue - never had it before. I am using Udim tiles so everything would not necessarily be packed onto the first tile (1001) I have three tiles. I can only paint on to the UV islands that are on the first tile 1001 but how do I paint on to tiles 1002 and 1003?

Hmmm, I think I'll need to take a look a your mesh to give you a proper help. Would you mind sharing your mesh? You can send it to me privately if you want.

Hi Cyril,

Thanks for the reply.

I've relocated the UVs on the UDIM 1001. I'm not sure if what I've done is correct, because the materials are still not showing.

I hope there is a more specific solution for my problem.

Hi @Jaime26346462ik42, Hello @0FuN29227546vtjo,

If the issue doesn't occur in Toolbag 4, it's probably because it allows UDIM on negative spaces (under or on the left of the Tile 1001) and Substance 3D Painter doesn't, unfortunately.

That's why, you'll have to make sure all the UVs are on a positive space before importing the 3D object. It has to be done in your modeling software.

I'm having the same issue. The texture painting works fine in Marmoset Toolbag 4 but in substance the texture just doesn't show. Have you found a fix?

Sorry, I know you already answered this, but I'm experiencing the same problem and I need to ask:  HOW do you "relocate all your UV shells on the tile 1001 and reimport your mesh in Substance Painter"?  Do I need to use an outside program like Blender?

Hi @Farclaimer28022935h3cf,

Thanks for the message.

From your picture, it seems your UVs are beneath the UDIM 1001. Substance 3D Painter can paint only on a positive space tile (on the right or the top of the UDIM 1001).

I'd advise you to relocate all your UV shells on the tile 1001 and to reimport your mesh in Substance Painter.

Best regards,
