irai use cpu instead gpu / crash on texture sets solo

Greetings. I noticed two problems with Painter (v9/9.0.1) and wanted to report them.
When I use Irai despite having GPU render selected, it occasionally uses CPU instead. It seems to fix itself momentarily sometimes by saving the project or restarting the program.
Second thing, when I isolate a texture set with the alt and click shortcut, when I reactivate all the sets, with the alt plus click shortcut, the program crashes.

I attach the log of the latter.

Bye

Yes, the CPU is disabled in the settings. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Thank you

Hi,

Just so we're clear, you have already deactivated the CPU in your General Settings?

I'll try to dig deeper into this issue.

Best regards,

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I did everything you suggested but nothing changed.
I updated the GPU drives to the latest version, and deleted the resources from the library that you advised me to delete.

Unfortunately Painter randomly uses the CPU instead of the GPU when I start the render.
Even if in the settings it is set to use only the GPU for rendering.

The crash also remains when I use alt and click for Unsolo texture sets.

I would like to solve at least the problem that uses the CPU during rendering, because when this happens I am often forced to restart the program to make it work correctly.

Hello and thanks for the help

Hello Stefano!

Thanks for the report.

I wasn't able to reproduce the crash on my side, and I'm not aware of a undesired CPU rendering issue. If not already done, it's worth a try updating the GPU driver to make sure the problem doesn't simply come from here.

You can also try to uncheck the CPU rendering under Edit > Settings > General > Iray Hardware.

On another note, it seems there's a corrupted file in your library. Therefore, I advise you to remove the krystal_test.spsm asset from your library, in order to prevent further issues.

Best regards,
