In the latest version 11.1.1, when using "Use Low Poly Mesh as High Poly Mesh" for texture baking

The Self Occlusion selection failed in Ambient Occlusion/Curvature/Thickness

The behavior of "Only Same Mesh Name" is identical to that of "Always". The attached image shows the AO baking maps in different Version.

Hi Dellenbach,

Thanks for replying and good to know that fix plan is on the way.

In temporary solution, It seems that the final texture will ignore the influence of normal map in MeshMapsSet. I currently use old version SP for baking missions.

Hello @li_8492,

Thanks for your report, we can indeed confirm this is a bug with 11.1.1 and we're working on a fix at the moment.

As a workaround, you can duplicate your LP model and use it as HP to make a bake matching by name. It is obviously way more tedious (and not a long-term solution), but the result should be the expected one.

As you mentioned a "new bug" with 11.1.1, I want to mention we've updated the Baker API with 11.1 and also switch from OpenGL to Vulkan.
Those are core compenents of Substance Painter system, so even if we tried to reduce the probability, bugs were indeed expected.

We're sorry for the inconveniences and are currently working on fixes. A 11.1.2 is already planned and a 11.1.3 should also see the day for all bugs needing more investigation.

Best regards,
