Lag when brushing

in substance painter, when i texture anything (even a 12 triangle object) with 4k texture is so laggy. 2k texture is less laggy and 1k texture isnt laggy.

Hello George,

I'm sorry your messages have been missed.

A very low poly model could in fact be the issue. Substance 3D Painter doesn't handle complex number of paint brushes on a significantly small number of polygons. This is a problem we sometimes see when people want to paint complex textures on a single polygon plane.

Another lead, considering you have an AMD hardware, you could try to disable the Sparse Virtual Texturing (Edit > Settings > Hardware support acceleration) and see if this help.

Also, I can see from your video that the Cache Disk Usage is almost full, it could worth the try to make some space.

The last thing is kind of basic, but can have huge impact: make sure the GPU driver is updated.
