My Huion 24 4k pressure doesnt work in any ADOBE software

Hey guys!

Im trying to use my pen display inside ADOBE software and for substance painter and photoshop to work i need to have Windows ink on. If i have it on strokes will lag and the software doesnt recognize pressure sensitivity. If I turn it off it works fine but pressure is not there. I already talked to HUION but they take ages to answer each message so i figured it doesnt harm to ask here too!

Would love some help now that i live from doing 3d models 😞

Hello, sadly its been a month of sending emails back and forth with Huion with no real answer. I've tested multiple Huion drivers, installed and reinstalled tons of other drivers. With no luck at all. So maybe you guys have a solution ? Maybe something related to Win11? Or to a configuration im missing or something ?

Thanks for keeping us updated, I'll try to sort this out, in order to know whether this issue comes from our side or not.

Hello ! I tried without Huion driver and it works, but it takes my first screen as the tablet screen and not the tablet itself. I've been talking to HUION but their support is just the worst. However, I tried with SBS 2021 steam version and it worked without any problem!

We usually do tests before updating Substance 3D Painter, but if the issue didn't occur with previous version this could be related to Painter's update or Huion drivers update.

Can you try to update (or rollback depending if you already have the last version or not) your Huion driver? If this doesn't work, try to rollback Painter for a previous version.

Keep me updated.

Hello Cyril!

Thabk you for your answer!

I already followed the guide you shared with me and nothing seems to work. It didnt happen with older versions of substance painter. It persists with only adobe related software. In other apps like Krita, Zbrush, Blender I have no problem at all.

Hi Santiago,

Thanks for the message.

First of all, Substance Painter indeed needs Windows ink turned on in order for the pressure to work properly, so you can keep this one activated.

If not already done, I strongly advise you to follow our guide on Configuring Pen and Tablets which (I hope) should help with the issue.

If not, I'd like to know if you already faced the same problem with previous versions of Painter, and if the issue persists with other software?

Best regards,
