Steam Version of Substance Painter Won’t Launch

I’m having an issue where the Steam version of Substance Painter won’t launch. The splash screen appears for a moment and then disappears, and the application never starts.

version 11.1.0

 

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Updated Windows (upgraded from Windows 10 to 11)

  • Clean GPU driver reinstall using DDU

  • Complete reinstall of Visual C++ Redistributables

  • Deleted cache files

  • Ran system file check and performed system restore

Since the program closes before it fully starts, no sp_log.txt is generated.
I checked the crash dump with WinDbg, and it shows the following:

If anyone has ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix it, I’d really appreciate the help.

Do you have an integrated GPU? If so, I advise you to check with the Nvidia Control Panel that the GPU being used is the dedicated GPU and not integrated.

The 2020 version launches, but the 2025 version doesn’t work.

I have the same problem. I cleared the settings, but the application still doesn’t work.

Can you try to launch the application as admin and if this doesn't help, you can also clean your preferences.
