Substance 3D Painter keeps crashing in AMD GPUs

I'm just reporting so either AMD or Adobe will take this into accountability for once despite users keep saying everywhere that this application doesn't work well in AMD at all.

Substance Painter keeps crashing the video drivers when working with many layers and not so many. Most likely when exporting textures and despite of that, the huge amount of ram that eats from the system doesn't  make any sense when you are only working with 3 or 4 layers with a full textured character.

Issues:

If the gpu reach 100% the gpu crashes

if you export textures in 4k + padding, crashes too

If the ram reaches 100% same crash (I have upgraded the ram and crashes still happening!)

undervolt untouched and touched same crashes.

I was painting in a layer the other day and the whole screen freezed then turned black and have to wait until it fixes by itself with a driver crash window.

Doesn't matter which version of adobe I have, newer or older same crashes, same for amd drivers...

The problem is not solved by any means and we desperately need someone to fix this problem.

The 2020 driver fix of AMD is not longer useful in later versions of Substance Painter.

Is there a way to show you personally with a Virtual Assist?
I can reproduce the issue easily and maybe it would help push the process further.

My system is the optimal build and I already did all GPU and system scans to ensure that the environment is not faulty and that it is an Adobe program issue.

I also have an issue with the program lagging and the viewport freezing without ANY textures on.  This would be a completely blank model.
Then, I would try again and it would work okay.
Very unstable and inconsistent.

I had to go through Adobe support, then AMD support, and then the manufacturer.

All were thinking it was a GPU error.
It turns out it's strictly an Adobe Substance 3D issue.

Hello,

Exactly the same issues : Unstable and very slow ... Some effects are also unstable, like the stylized one.

Please, give us a real fix soon. Thanks

Hello @Aaron29974645z00s

Thank your for your report.

We are in fact currently investigating into AMD performances. We are able to reproduce some of the issues mentioned here, but surely not as easily as you seem to experience.

Would you agree to share one of your .SPP file with this kind of problem? One that triggers 100% of your RAM would be great. You can send it at cdellenbach@adobe.com

In the meantime, increasing the TDR value and deactivate the Virtual Texture sparse should enhance your performances.

Best regards,
