Substance Painter and Designer Crash, M1 Mac

I'm using a Mac with an M1 Max chip and MacOS Sonoma Version 14.1.2

Substance Painter and Designer open a blank white window, and if I close this window Painter and Designer will crash. This happens almost immediately after opening Painter, and when I add 3D noise materials in Designer. Is it possible to even use these programs reliably on an M1 Mac?
