Hello, i have a problem with Substance Painter.

I work on 2020 Mac Book pro but when i open this logiciel i have an error message : Error : implementation limit of 16 active fragment shader samplers (e.g., maximum number of supported image units) exceeded, fragment shader uses 18 sampiers

So i don't see some materials so i can't work.

Somebody can help me please ?

Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, your MacBook is below the minimum system requirements and this can result with a bunch of various issues.

With that being said, we can try several things to optimize your projects, but without guarantee it will work. While creating a project, make sure your Document Resolution is 1024 or below, but not above. You can deactivated the Temporal Anti-Aliasing as well (in your camera settings). Also, I would advise you to avoid the UV Tile workflow as much as possible.

I hope this will help with your projects, but I am afraid I cannot do much more.

Best regards,

Yes it's this. You should be able to link the .pdf here, but the website sometimes has issues showing the option. You can send it to me privately at cdellenbach@adobe.com

Hello @Saliha29234977u0u1,

Thanks for your message.

The issue might come from the MacBook. Could you share your log (help>export log...), so I can dig deeper into the issue?

Best regards,
