The program itself shuts down when you import files such as OBJ and FBX after the 9.1 Steam version patch.
For version 8 (beta) provided by Steam, we have confirmed that it works properly.

I'd like you to provide me with the option to downgrade version 9.0.

The rollback to 9.0.1 is now available on Steam!

Could you send me your log file? You'll find it under

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter

This way, I'll be able to take a closer look at the issue.

To keep you updated regarding a possible rollback to 9.0.1, it should be available in the following days.

The object used in the test is the default box for the blender. In my Laptop, whatever file you load, it's a problem.

Hi @leew32097518,

I'm unfortunately unable to reproduce the issue on my end. Could you maybe share the .OBJ or .FBX causing trouble?

Regarding the rollback to 9.0, I'll have to check in order to be sure, but from what I know, we should make the 9.0.1 available in the following weeks (no promises).

Best regards,

When I tested it, it seems that the problem occurs if I leave the packing recalculation option on. If you turn this option off or turn on the UV island function, the problem disappears.
