Why did I lose my downloaded materials after updating Substance Painter?

I just updated Substance Painter and to my surprise, I lost all the materias I had already downloaded from the Assets Store. To be clear, I aready had Adobe Substance, this is not due to the Allegorithmic -> Adobe shelf migration. Is there any way to get them back? I wouldn't like to have to spend more downloads to get what I already got before.

I already did that migration as I mentioned on the initial post. The points were migrated too, but the asset store does not recognize the downloads before Adobe took over. The materials were in my library, that's why I do not understand why Adobe deleted them when I updated Substance via Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Where did you download them to previously. You can migrate them to the new shelf as per the article linked here :

https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/spdoc/preferences-and-content-migration-215286925.html  However, when I switched frrom Allegorithmic to Adobe Substance Painter I found it quicker just to add the previous location on my hard disk to my libraries in preferences. All were then visible in the shelf.

If however you mean you have lost the materials in the store, have you migrated your points and assets ? :

Update: Not only materials are missing, but also my custom output templates.
