I am working on a macbook pro OS 14.1.1

app version 6.1.0.587

Al apps are working fine. since yesterday no fonts appear in added fonts or installed fonts. only the removed fonts are visible.

I get error code 198: unable to sync. install sync component and try again.

I tried command option R / i tried repair from the uninstall app / i tried uninstall and reinstalled the app.

I did so without first deleting all apps from my device.

So far nothing works. suggestions welcome!

Error code 198: Unable to install an update of the product

Error code 198 occurs due to permission issues or if the expected file or folder (in case of a manual clean-up) is not available during an update.

SOLUTION

  1. Select the view error log and check which file is unavailable or lacks permissions.

  2. To check permissions, try the following steps based on your operating system:

    Windows

    a) Right-click on the concerned file. Select Properties from the drop-down menu.

    b) In the Security tab, ensure that the file or folder for which the issue is occurring has both Read & execute permissions.

    macOS

    a) Go to File > Get Info, and then select Sharing & Permissions. Select system from the Name column.

    b) Ensure that it has Read & Write privilege.

If the concerned file or folder isn't available on the device (in case of a manual clean-up), uninstall the existing app and install the latest version.
