Creative Cloud Desktop Error 190 on fully updated Windows 10 22H2 – KANC 7.0.7.25
Creative Cloud Desktop fails to update with Error 190 on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (OS build 19045.7663).
The installer attempts to install Adobe Native Client (KANC) 7.0.7.25, but the installation fails during the OS requirement check.
The installation log reports:
“Sanity check for installation failed. Current OS version 10.0.19045 doesn't satisfy OS requirements.”
“Error occurred in install product workflow with error code 190.”
Windows Update is fully up to date.
Troubleshooting performed:
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth completed successfully.
- SFC /scannow found corrupted files and repaired them successfully.
- Creative Cloud Desktop was repaired.
- Creative Cloud Desktop was removed using the official Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, selecting “Creative Cloud only”.
- Creative Cloud Desktop was reinstalled using Adobe's official Windows 10 64-bit installer.
- Error 190 persists after the clean installation.
The installer successfully connects to Adobe servers and receives HTTP 200 responses before failing at the OS requirement check.
Photoshop and Illustrator are installed and currently work normally.
This PC cannot officially upgrade to Windows 11 because the hardware does not meet Windows 11 requirements.
Please investigate why KANC 7.0.7.25 rejects Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.
