New updates consistently crash applications

Almost every recent update to applications (specifically InDesign and Illustrator) cause the apps to crash or not open at all. I then need to reinstall an older version in order to use the application. It’s been happening for probably over a year now.

I had to uninstall the logitech plugin for the most recent Lightroom and Photoshop CC updates. Otherwise, it kept crashing or stalled at opening. Once I uninstalled it, things are running smoothly.

outdated plugins are a common cause of adobe app crashes.  start the problem app without loading plugins to test.

It wasn't outdated or causing any issues until this last update. :)

I uninstalled it. After going through multiple Adobe help steps that not once mentioned plugins. I had to find that on reddit. So, I offer it as a solution because Adobe focuses first on the computer stats.
