Opens random Creative Cloud files

When I try to open a file from Open Recent menu, it opens random file and not the one that is listed in the menu. This happens across both Indesign and Illustrator. With every update, the entire creative suite is getting more and more buggy and crashes a lot.

contact adobe support via chat and let them check your computer

Refreshing, restarting app or computer doesn't solve this issue. It keep opening up reandom files. I am looking going back to Quark or try Affinity. Looks like my years of relationshop since 1996 is coming to and end with Adobe products.

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
