Premiere Pro requires sign-in every time I use it

I have Premiere Pro through a Creative Cloud subscription. I used to be able to launch Premiere Pro and immediately start working, but now it requires a sign in pretty much every time I launch it (granted, not if I launch it again the same day). And it doesn't remember the username and password.

I want to sign in with a bespoke email and password, and not via Facebook or Google. For reasons.

How to fix this annoyance?

now, suspend your av (and any other computer cleaners) and set it to not start until you explicitly start it. ie, set it so it won't start tomorrow.

you're testing to see if the culprit is your av or other cleaners clearing your credentials.

I restarted my PC when Premiere Pro had just been running (and I was signed in to the Creative Cloud Desktop). No sign-in required.

what if you restart your computer right after signing in?

There is no need to sign in during the same day / restart after you have signed in once. It seems to forget my login in about a day.

if you sugn in to premier pro, close it and then reopen (without a computer restart), do you have to sign in again?

I tried launching Photoshop Express but it's not launching. I just stays in the splash screen forever. At least currently. Maybe after a reboot, or another sign-out / sign-in it will launch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm only subscribed to Premiere Pro and I don't have other Adobe apps installed. Looks like I have access to Photoshop Express as well but I haven't installed it. The Creative Cloud Desktop requires sign-in on start too but since it runs in the background I haven't tested if I have to repeatedly sign in to it too.

do other adobe apps start without requiring a sign in?
