Yep, that's what I've been doing. Either it's not resetting (I already uninstalled and reinstalled it too), or I'm doing something wrong. I appreciate your help though. Thank you!

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
