sudden app update

Hi folks,

just got a message that my apps have been upgraded to the latest version. Problem is, I did not ask for it. Especially LrC shall stay on 13.5.1, as it does not create to many issues on my installation. So automatic update was not activated for moths by purpose. Otherwise Creative Cloud would have done an automatic update to 14.0 first, when it became available, and it never got installed, as intended.

 

I did double check now and to my surprise auto update was activated (Version 6.4.0.361) - and I am pretty sure that I did not touch the settings lately.

Maybe there is a glitch in the latest install of creative cloud.

@juergenb84151248 Could you please provide the log file name so we can retrieve it from our portal? The file name should be included in the email confirmation for the log collector tool.

Didnt help, after reseting prefernaces and it trys to repload it just crashes again.

Up until now I hadn't started any updates and hadn't turned on automatic updates. Now when i try to open LRC the splash screen comes up with the new image saying loading preferances and then crashes. 

Ive tried reverting back 2 versions but my catiloge is so outdated its not usable and will cause so much pain. Im now trying to update again to see what happins. Such a pain !!!!

HAd the same thing happen. Now my LRC wont load !!

i have auto-update enabled for the cc desktop app itself and disabled for the installed apps.  i've never had an app auto-update (yet).  (but i do get nagged alot to update.)
