The Type tool shortcut (T) is not working sometimes (most of times) it's only work when i tap shift+T

What tool are you on when you need Shift+T?

In some of the applications several tools share a space and a shortcut and the Shift key is needed to go to another tool in the group. You can also select whether or not to use the Shift key in Preferences.

This is general information since we don't know which application you are using.
