Unable to upload any file to the Cloud

Hello,

I just started using Creative Suite and tried to upload some files to the Cloud. After trying to upload anything I am receiving an error message "1 file(s) could not be uploaded. file type not supported." I have tried uploading PDF's, MP4's, JPG's and DOCS files, none of them work. I am able to sync these same files using the Sync feature.

Steps that I have already tried:

  • Disable Windows Firewall
  • Log out and into the account
  • Restart desktop
  • Upload directly from sync folder
  • Upload on browser and desktop app

There isn't any information on the forums that seems to be addressing such an issue. Please let me know if you have any ideas for how to fix this.

Thanks

you can upload those files types only to your sync folder.  libraries etc are for special document types created by cc apps.

btw, the sync folder will no longer be supported soon.

Syncing files is not the problem, that works as intended. Uploading to the cloud is where the error occurs. I am unable to upload any type of file to the cloud, regardless of what I try. Do you have any ideas for how to fix that issue?

browswer and local file system/sync folder are the two ways.

eg, use your os file browser to drag a bitmap to your local sync folder.

Thanks for responding.

What do you mean by assets site? I have tried uploading on my browser from my local files and sync folder as well as uploading on my desktop app from local files and sync folder. Is there any other way I can try to upload a file?

are you using your local sync folder to upload?

if not, and you're using your browser to upload, use your assets site.
