P: 13.0.1 at launch [LrC quit unexpectedly] (Mac)

The steps outlined by @Rikk Flohr: Photography did work for me on my MBP. But it's a new machine with essentially a virgin LrC install and no catalog. I have not yet tried it on my main machine which is the Mac mini. Still concerned that I will end up loosing some settings or preferences by uninstalling LrC 13.0 as step one.

After examination by the engineering staff who've been reviewing logs, this appears to be the result of an aberrant installation.  If you follow the steps in the Pinned post I've outlined and @johnrellis  confirmed in the "Correct Answer", you should be able to resolve this today without update.

There should be no loss of data, preferences or presets.  A clean reinstall of Lightroom should not touch any customer content. I do it regularly as I run so many alpha/beta versions and have never had issue. 

That said, a good backup before hand is always prudent!

@Rikk Flohr: Photography - question: does this cause you to lose any LrC settings/preferences, etc? Because if so, the alternative of reverting to 13.0 and waiting for the next update, which one would hope, would not result in a crash on program start, is an easier and arguably better option.

Following those exact steps worked for me, eliminating the crash-on-launch I too was getting with LR 13.0.1 on Mac OS 13.5.1:

Waiting 5 minutes as the last step was important, since I was getting the spinning color wheel after first launching LR 13.0.1.

Same issue coming up for me, I just reverted back to 13.0 until the next update comes out. It's the quickest solution for myself.
